NEW SHOPPER IN OREGON/WASHINGTON

Hello Y'all, I happen to live on the border of Oregon/Washington where I started my MS journey. I would like to know how many other shoppers are out there shopping in the Oregon/Washington region. Personally, I have found sooooooo many MS opportunities that I cannot literally keep up with the work. I have been able to work on a full-time basis (due to being unemployed at this time). But, the work just keeps coming for city to city to city, ..... I have been willing to travel as far as Seattle, WA to the north to Eugene, OR to the south.

So, if you are out there and have a HELPFUL story, tip, observation, shop info, etc pass it along to the rest of us!! I know some shoppers choose to be very "protective" of their work, so they are leering about offering any information ....

Please don't worry I am NOT asking you to 'sell the farm', just help us understand how we can best tend to our own.

Look forward to some feedback!!! Thanks!!!

How many shops can you do per month?
Isa, we are all independent contractors, how many shops we do or don't do is up to us. If you want to mystery shop my first suggestion is you read the section titled New Mystery Shoppers. The first five or six threads are particularly helpful when starting your business. Then you need to start registering with the companies on the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies which is at the bottom of every page on this site. As you read around the forum you will find the number of shops we do and the amount of money we make varies greatly. We are business owners and choose to do what works best for us.

Hi, I do live in Seattle, and I find shops for southern WA that I can't take, so glad to know you are picking them up. Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, I pick up a lot of southern WA shops, but have been keeping my eye on the Tacoma/Seattle area. I will be working in that part of the region within the next week. I totally understand this is an "independent business" and we need to be mindful of those who might come along to snatch our American Dream!!! LOL!! But, I have no intentions of 'coveting' another man/woman's territory. I just want to gather what might be available out there for us all!! I believe there is enough work for all of us... But, some disagree that is why they choose to hold on to their precious companies. And, lastly, I totally understand the time, effort and work that goes into finding/searching out a 'jewel/golden' nugget you might say.... As for me, I am not bothered by those who want to share in the wealth of MSing.... I live by the principle " whatever portion has been set aside for me, no one can take that portion"
