It depends on how many assignments are available in your area, how many assignments you choose to take, the type of assignments you take (some pay more than others), and how good at it you are.
I've made a little over $300 this month so far. This was my first month really doing more than getting lunch or dinner every once in a while.
Same here. $300 month to date. 18 shops. Scheduling more as we speak. And I work full time. I actually need to make up about $1000/month as I will soon be taking a lower paying job in another field. This just might do the trick....

Glad to see how others are doing with mystery shopping!

Scmami - I am also trying to supplement my income since I have a child going to college next year.
You can make anywhere from zero to a full time income, depending on where you are and how hard and how smart you work.

How much you can make depends on how many jobs you do and the average pay for those jobs. Video shoppers have a higher fee average. Shoppers doing cruises, hotels, and fine dining get larger reimbursements. Shoppers who are well established are going to get better shops and make more money than beginners. Shoppers who work hard every day are going to make more money than the shopper who works now and then.

There are so many variables it's really hard to say how much is the most you can make. To find out what is the most you can make, the well paid, full time, established shoppers would have to weigh in with their annual figures and I don't think that's going to happen. Let's just say that we have full timers who make a living doing this. On the other end of the question, the least you can make is zero if you don't work.

I do this part time and I average between $10,000 and $12,000 per year. I believe I could easily earn much more money if I applied myself and worked on a full time basis. Some weeks I work huge hours when opportunities pop up, but then again I may take off for a week or a month and not shop at all. Overall, even though some shops may be heavily bonused, there is no easy money to be made here. It will require a great deal of work and self discipline, and the more money you need the harder you will have to work.

If you live in an area where there is a lot of shopping, the answer to your question about how much is the least and the most you can earn is entirely up to you.
