Finally introducing myself

Hi, everyone! I've been lurking around this board for a week or two and now I feel I should introduce myself. My name is Tara and I have been a mystery shopper for a year now. At first I did it just to test the waters and see if I would actually make any money since I was in between jobs at the time. I was pleasantly surprised when I did get my first payment. I eventually got a part-time job and was able to supplement that with the money I made from mystery shopping. I was laid off from my job about two months ago and finding another "real" job wasn't working out. I wouldn't suggest anyone get into mystery shopping full-time unless they have no other alternative. It's wonderful part-time, but full-time is not so wonderful. Fortunately, I've had a good amount of success with it and I've also been an active survey-taker since 2005. Anyway, that's my story in a nutshell! I'm glad I found this forum.

Welcome Tara, it's great to have you here!
A woman after my own heart. That is almost my story and the exact same advice I give to anyone lured by "Get paid to shop and eat!" Yeah right.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.
