Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum and let me first say that I wish I would have known about it sooner! What a great opportunity to share experiences and compare notes about certain companies.
I'm not a new shopper but I'm not quite a seasoned vet yet. I've been shopping full time for the last 3 or so months (part time for about 6 months). I don't know if this is an area to list credentials but, I'm ICPro 100 on JobSlingerPlus (I'm digging the new JobSlingerPlus, but whats up with having to pay for membership? Blah.) and MSPA Silver Certified.
I live in Dallas, Texas but I call Florida home. I've been in Texas for a little over a year and I'm trying to learn to like it- we'll see how that goes. It's a lot more heat and traffic than I was expecting- shopping here can get kind of rough if I end up with multiple assignments in a day lol I'm no stranger to reading guidelines/trying to line up jobs/jotting notes/emailing schedulers/missing appointments and cursing Texas... while stuck in traffic on the freeway, sweating. Hehe. It's an interesting state to live in, for sure.
Does anyone know if there is anything else similar to JobSlingerPlus out there? I really like the way that it's networked but I would like to widen my horizons a bit.
Well, thanks for reading! Looking forward to reading up on the companies I regularly work with and learning from everyone who posts. Thanks!
