I have been doing shopping with Market Force and Bestmark for years. I live in a rural community about 50 miles from Gulfport, Ms and 50 miles from New Orleans, La. Any suggestions on getting some of the higher paid shops? What companies should I apply with? Sheri

Quite frankly - who are YOU to jump into a forum as a new member, and immediately cop an attitude? Why don't you simply click on the person's name (in dark blue bold by their post) - and the research some to find out what they have done to contribute to the forum.

Hey, I'm John Wiese living in Tucker Georgia and new to the mystery shopping experience and would love to develop my talent. I love cars and have a C.D.L. liscense. I have available weekday time most every week however sometimes I work in the film and video industry so I get carried away to work on some movie. For example I recently worked on 42...the Jackie Robinson Story for about 14 weeks straight.

smooches04 - What are you thinking to come on a forum where people share opinions and information, and then when you get some of those opinions you don't care for, you post a STFU response? Well, STFU, how dumb is that? That kind of post will not get you anything you want. You have to be smart enough to figure out how to get what you want, and STFU will not get the job done.
We learn most of what we need to know from what goes wrong and from negative interactions with other people. Good times make us feel good but hard times make us more effective.
Your experience here on the forum has gone down badly, but if you give it honest consideration you will realize you are part of the problem. You cannot come into a bunch of people who are strangers to you with your back up and think you're not going to get some spits and hisses.
You will never be as good a shopper on your own as you could be as part of a social community of members supporting one another. Going it alone is your own choice and it is the wrong choice. Please try to participate in a courteous manner and you will in turn be able to share experiences and gain information you need that will never be available to you on your own. Accept this forum for what it can do for you. I guarantee it is the best available.
Now, if you want to tell me personally and directly to STFU, you go right ahead. I'm willing to help you. If you're willing to accept my help, then we can have a positive relationship. If not, you are making that choice all by yourself, in which case STFU will be the best option.

dymotape - To be a mystery shopper, you have to sign up with the mystery shopping companies. After you have signed up with a company, you can go to their website and look at their job board to see what jobs they are offering. The mystery shopping company will not pay you in advance. You will be paid after you have done a job and your report is accepted. At the bottom of this page there is a link to a list of mystery shopping companies. If you want to do this, you need to start signing up. The companies will give you detailed instructions on how to do each job.
If anyone sends you a large check in advance, that is a scam. Do not deposit the check. Turn it in to the authorities in your town. If you deposit the check and do anything with the money, you will be responsible because the check will be no good. No reputable mystery shopping company will send a beginning shopper money in advance.
