Introduction.......Hi everyone!

I am a newbie to the Mystery Shop Forum though I would not say I am actually new to mystery shopping jobs, back in '05 is when I first started doing some jobs, mainly grocery store jobs. I did this for about two months while I was in between jobs, once a new job came along I quit; and truthfully forgot all about it. In March of this year I lost my job due to severe medical issues I was having at the time, in May I was still jobless and things at home were beyond being rough and manageable, something had to be done so I once again got on the internet and started searching for at home jobs, which of course lead to several mystery shop links. In June I started mystery shopping again so some money was at least coming into the house and some bills were able to be paid, here we are at the end of July almost and I am still doing as many shops as I can with several companies, as well as being lucky enough to have found a company that hires at home customer service agents. While I am still getting back on my feet and am no where near getting caught up, I do now see a light, which I am thankful for. Though I have not received my first check from the company I work at home for (started with them the 11 of July and it takes three weeks to get your first check) I have managed to make over $300 with shops I did in June; I am very impressed and satisfied with the income I know I can bring in by continuing to do shops. While having to wait a month for payment does cause issues when first starting, the shops are worth it. As long as you continue to do them you know you can depend on that money coming in the next month and the bills being paid.

Loving what I do and proud of it!

Welcome to the Board!

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
welcome tmsample! So sorry to read of your hard times but you seem to have a great attitude! I wish you the best!
Thanks! Have to stay positive and realize while it might be a hard situation to deal with, I am going to learn a HUGH lesson when it is over! smiling smiley
The first two months of mystery shopping can be tough, and meager. With the third and consecutive months, a steady income stream is doable.

Glad it's working for you, tmsample.
Mert, Thanks! Yes the first two months can be tough but sticking in there is definitely worth it. I will admit if I was not in the position I was in when I started I am not sure I would of kept going, with things like this it is easy to get discouraged and just give up; you have to keep going at a steady stream and remember that like everything in life in the end it'll be worth it.

Glad to see so many dedicated people out there!
