Hi Everybody!

Hi everyone:

I've been dealing with a company for a very short time that basically has no work for me. I went out on one assignment. Thought it was reimbursement plus flat fee. Found out it was only flat fee. Had to drive 30 minutes to get to it too. Live and learn.

I need work. I'm in Loma Linda, CA. That's near San Bernardino.

Indeed the first 'flat fee' shop I did was a surprise that I wasn't reimbursed as well. Register with more companies because very rarely does a single company have enough shops in a particular area to keep a shopper busy.

Hi Debbie, welcome to the forum smiling smiley

I signed up for most of the Mystery Shopping Companies (MSCs) listed on this site (see the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies at the bottom of every page.) I have so much to pick from here that there just are not enough hours in a day. I'm going to be heading down that way in July so I've been looking at the LA area on the job boards. There is a lot to choose from you just need to be signed up with more MSCs.

I'm signed up with more than 50 right now and a lot of folks on here are signed up with more than 100. I started by signing up with Shadow Shopper and signing up for every MSC that advertised on their site. I'm sure there are other ways to get started, but that's how I did it.

By the way, this site has been a blessing. There are a lot of people on here that have been doing this a long time and are willing to share great advice!

Thank you both so much. What an education! I had no idea I could possibly stay so busy. My car is not in the best shape. So I don't want to drive long distances until I get a better one. I'll have to save for a good down payment. But I will love to be working again. Thank you for the encouragment. I so need this.

I will take your advice, and sign up with a lot of companies, and work what assignments I can get that are relatively close to me.
