Hi Dreababy,

Purely online mystery-shopping gigs are not that common. I've snagged one, from BestMark. Only paid $3. On the other hand, BestMark pays pretty quickly, and the job couldn't have been easier: look at the website in one window while filling out the report in another.

I've also done an online job for MSI, equally easy. But that one required a purchase in the $80-120 range, which I then had to return, requiring a visit to the local post office. Paid better though.

Telephone shops are much more common. Those often pay $2 or $3 dollars as well. It's not much money, but I guess it can add up if you just don't wanna leave the house.

Outside, of course, is where all the action is. Most mystery-shopping jobs involve visiting some place of business. Many require a minimum purchase in order to obtain a receipt as proof of your visit, and most often such purchases are reimbursed (at least partially). At the bottom of this and every page you'll find a link to the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. Apply to as many as you can to find all the opportunities in your area.

Here are a four reputable companies to get you started: Corporate Research, Market Force, Bare, and Maritz. The job fees at Corporate Research will increase throughout the month. Sign up with these companies on line and take all their training. That will put you well on your way.
