Have you already registered with a mystery shopping company? It sounds like you might have an assignment pending. If so please let us know. If the company in question is offering to pay you in advance then it's a guaranteed scam. Mystery shopping is a real job and payment for services rendered is after jobs are completed, reports are submitted, edited and approved by the contracting client. Sometimes this can take as little as a week, other times it could be 60 days.
There are definitely scams out there and some use the names of real companies. Mystery shopping is a legitimate industry and you can find a list of companies on this site. Most of us are registered with many companies and opinions vary. Some pay quickly, some slowly and if they don't pay at all you can bet somebody is talking about them
