Hello from Vancouver BC

I read with interest the information on this forum find Useful and interesting. I need help having been approached by a company called

They are asking to register credit card number for paying money in advance for purchases while doing mystery shop, purchases can be retained. I am not sure if any of such company's name or asking for credit card registration. They only can be approached by email or online chat. The contact number on line is for different division.

Any one having been approached by company like this or any awareness please let me know. Thank you. L

Did you notice this on the website? If you went to work at Starbucks would you expect them to pay you the day before you worked or after?

"All payments are made prior to the receipt of your assignment. All assignments must be completed within 24 hours of receipt."

Legitimate mystery shopping companies do not ask for your credit card information and never pay in advance. Most pay be check, PayPal or a direct deposit into your bank account. They also ask for the following information. Wow, they will have your signature, SIN/SSN and a copy of your ID along with your credit card information.
1. Shopper Contract Form
2. SSN or SIN if in Canada.
3. Copy of Government issued photo identification.

I went on to check out the page outlining their "principles." Interesting that they mention the business is run on 5 key principles, but don't bother to list them, LOL!

Thank you Lisa! There are quite a few such red flags. I have not seen any mystery shop company inviting to join, no testing and questions. Then can not contact them by phone. This explains all. L
Good for you coming here to ask about them. It's a shame others will fall for itsad smiley
