Mystery Internet Shopper.??

Has anyone ever done any work for them? I just wondered if they are legit. The ad appears at the top of my mystery shop forum all the time.

This is a great place to ask, but also check in the official list linked to at the bottom of each page. Also, search the forums with the search link above.

The ads at the top are just that, not any endorsement from the forum. As Tech said the list at the bottom is good. This doesn't mean there isn't someone here who has worked with Mystery Internet Shopper so posting the question is a good thing.

At first glance, the site doesn't look legitimate.
I put in some fake info on the first page for the halibut and the next page showed me this:

Obviously something bogus IMO, at minimum nothing to do with MS'ing. And anybody who skips #5 on a list on their website simply won't get my business. ;-)
So, it's an affiliate link farm. They probably sell mailing lists, too.
I actually started for Mystery Internet when I first jumped back into the business in April. I was sent a list of shops on an excel type sheet. It was explained to me that I jsut needed to get to a certain point on each site, take a screen shot and write a brief summary of ease of use etc. There was about 10 or so sites on the spread sheet...do the sheet and it takes about an hour or so...10 bucks...then u get more assignments...I am too hyper to stay at my comp like that and then I got so wrapped up in signing up and taking shops that I never looked back. HOWEVER, I was told that I could set up a "dummy" email for the job.
I don't trust it. I especially don't like this paragraph...

"If you are accepted. You will instantly be sent a spreadsheet (document) filled with offers, trials and gifts you can claim. We'll also send you information about offers near you ( e.g. free meals, car test drives or other outings)."

Seems likie they are harvesting email addresses...
