New To Shopping

Hi, I'm Rachelle, and I just accepted my first shop. I'm pretty nervous! LOL I don't know why. I'm a college graduate and have spent lots of money to receive good products and services. I think it's all the rules that make me nervous. But I'm sure I will be fine. I'm glad I've found this little "sub-culture" and look forward to it being a lot of fun and a great side-gig! smiling smiley

Hi, Rachelle, welcome to the forum. You won't get rich but it's fun and you can add a few extras for yourself by doing this.
Hello Rachelle - Welcome to the forum. It's normal to feel jittery about your first shop. If you're seriously choking up, you could try doing a practice shop or two ahead of time. You don't have to practice in the same store. It could be anywhere, or it could be in the same store if it's a place you might frequent. Study your guidelines carefully, be sure you have the date and time window right, and be sure you go to the correct location. Once you get a good grip on what you're going to do, you'll feel much more assured.

Hi Rachel! Welcome to bizaro world. Hope you have as much fun shopping as I have. Keep coming back to the forum you will get all of the information you need.
How did your first shop go? I always feel like I am an actress when I mystery shop. Make sure you also register with us at www.BeyondHello.com. THANKS!
If you can pass a college course you can mystery shop, though as I have proved with both you can still make mistakes :-)
Hi guys, my first shop isn't until this coming Monday. I/ve been wanting to sign up for others but I think I need to get my first shop out of the way and see how I feel about it. I also wanted to make sure to give myself plenty of time to do some research on industry trends and expectations and just do a lot of reading and mental preparation. I have a bachelors degree, raisitup, so hopefully that will serve me well! smiling smiley

Ironically, I had a dream last night about my first shop. It must be heavy on my mind. It was a total train wreck! Hahaha...weird thing is I was preparing a meal in my dream but the shop isn't food related (go figure). When I woke up I was glad it was a dream because I had really messed up bad.

I'm probably making more out of this than I need to. It kind of feels like those days leading up to the first day of school. But I'm sure once it's all said and done it will be fine.

Thanks for asking!
We all get first shop jitters. I figure I'm lucky because my first shop I agreed to do shortly before actually doing it so there was the rush of learning the instructions rather than time to get ulcers about it. :-)
