Sometimes strange things happen when you go on a shop. I scheduled a shop for this afternoon which sounded pretty easy. I didn't notice the location was adjacent to a very large and popular shopping mall. Took me 30 minutes to do the shop...and about 3 hours to crawl through several blocks thronged with holiday-shopping traffic.
But so far the strangest thing I've encountered was on a filling station debranding audit. I wore my business-casual attire. I had my LOA. I had my Shop Guidelines. I had my camera with the time/date stamp set. I had even bought a new clipboard to use just for that assignment. And when I got there, the filling station had been demolished. There was nothing to audit. There was no one to show my LOA to. There was nothing. So I took pictures of the street signs showing the location, and pictures of a vacant lot. The shop was accepted.
What are some other weird and wacky things that can happen?
