CRI's horrible testing system

I am so frustrated!! I have wasted time getting qualified to shop for one company with CRI and I have verified that my answers are correct on the test, but I keep getting a prompt saying I didn't pass. I went over the information several times, with the test opened, and verified each question/answer just to ensure I'm right. I even changed my answers just in case their is a flaw in the system. I wasted a hour of my time and I still didn't pass. If my answers are incorrect it means their training is wrong because I have exactly what their guidelines state. I am about to write this company off. Has anyone else experience anything similar with them?

These days I pass most of their tests without the guidelines, but that is ONLY because I've been with them for well over 4 years and things just don't change that much. Take another look at the questions. As of now, I've never seen one that was out and out wrong. What I have come across are ones that are worded strangely or are somewhat ambiguous and lead you to the wrong answer.

I also seldom look at their training materials other than to find info for a specific question. Normally, I can narrow it down to one question I am not sure about and just keep changing that answer.

I have typically been convinced I was right, but realized I wasn't or was interpreting the question in a different way than intended once I passed the test.
I could have sworn on a recent test there was a question that wasn't even covered in the training. Since there are never more than 4 multiple choice answers, it was just a matter of changing it a couple of times. The good thing about CORI tests (if there is ever a good thing about tests) they can be open book and they don't seem to have a maximum number of attempts.

cori's tests are always worded to trick you and if you are not used to them it will take you several times to pass. Sometimes one word in the question can be the difference between true and false.

I also noticed the questions on the test that werent covered in the guidelines. Just hit my browser back button couple times until the right choice was chosen for that question.

I can see we all take these tests seriously as I also do the hunt and peck type method of figuring out the answers...rarely do I get into the training.

I also have successfully passed several tests without opening the training. There are a couple that are worded in negatives, so you end up reading the question to fast and answer the opposite.

I hear your pain. I have been there and been made to feel that I can't get it right either. So, once I gave up and emailed them - probably the scheduler for the client and said here is a list of the answers I think are correct - could you give me a hint? Twice I did this and they told me which question I had wrong. Once, they had it blatently wrong so I could not get it right on my own without randomly changing answers.

Since then, I have kept a copy of the test with passing answers for future exams. Periodically, the client changes the information or shop requirements so they make us take another test. The good news is that the next test is usually with one different question so it's easy to deal with.

I think I just kept changing answers on questions I was iffy on until I got my 100%. Painful, yeah, but it is what it is...
I have the same situation. Try and try and can't pass. So frustrating.

Don't give up. Email them with your answers and ask for help. I have gotten prompt, helpful responses in the past.
