Experienced CORI shopper - they've got me stumped. Please help!

Today from Cori: This email is to inform you have been excluded from performing (X company home improvement shops) for 90 days for marking the integrity question incorrectly after being warned.

I have done 30 of these home improvement shops for CORI over the past 2 years and have always gotten a 5 (I realize they pretty much either reject shops or give 5s). I received a phone call about 2 months ago that I answered an integrity shop for them incorrectly. I do many different kinds of shops for them almost weekly. I asked her what the question is, what company it's for and she would give me NO insight. I thought surely it was for missing one of the signs posted at the XMart stores (i.e driver's ed. classes) but she said that was not it and she could not tell me what it is. So . . I've done 5 of the same home improvement store since my conversation with her and again got all 5's with no comments. What sense does it make and who does it help to in essence say - you're doing something wrong and we're not going to tell you what it is and we're not even going to tell you what company it's for???? Thanks for any insight!

Sun - I'm not understanding your post. Are you saying they won't let you do the home improvement shop for 90 days, or are you saying you don't know which company it is and they won't let you do any shops for 90 days. Huh?

Good grief, I'm in trouble. I didn't even know they had integrity questions.

I can understand why they wouldn't tell you what you answered wrong, but not why they wouldn't identify the client from the get go.

For that client in particular, I've noticed a question in one section that always has me going back and looking a second time. It seems the answer should be yes, yet I can never find what they are asking about. It is the portion of the shop that used to require a screen print. When they dropped the screen print requirement, the new instructions said they would be able to tell if and when you had completed that portion of the shop. I never believed it when they said there was a way to identify the date and time and just figured that odd question was their verification.

OK, I've always actually done that portion of the shop and answered all the questions to the best of my ability. I didn't catch on that one was an integrity question. Well, silly me.

O.K., I'm sorry. I am just exempt from the home inprovement shop for 90 days. I can still do all others for them. It's not the question that asks "are you sure you want to answer yes". She did tell me that. They're considering it an integrity question whether or not you tried to find the item on the home improvement website. THANKS!!!

I don't know of one that says are you sure you want to answer yes. The one I'm talking asks about a specific feature on the home page of the site and it seems like it should be there. Every time I flip back to the website it's not there. Recently I started wondering if it was an integrity question.

I am pretty sure I know what you mean - it's one of the first questions on the website part of the form, right? And I have never ever seen the thing they are asking for but I also figured different browsers sometimes show different pages (not often but if it is interactive or your browser tends to go to cached pages; that sort of thing. I can't think of anything else that could be an integrity question.

You got it. There really is no way for them to verify that website visit without an integrity question. The whole website part of that is bizarre anyway.

Especially for this month's salesperson's evaluation of $15 - $25 dimmer switches. I can see a "regular" shopper looking at the wesite for a large and more expensive item but a light switch that is so small you can hardly tell what it is on the website! . . . O.K. I'm off my soapbox. Lesson learned. Thanks all!

Wow, I'm having a problem with them as well and they won't tell me what it is either! Now I'm feeling encouraged (not with your troubles) but I have someone to commiserate with :-)

I just did that shop and I know which question it is and the answere is no. It's pretty obvious if you look on the site.

It's not an item, it's part of the website.
