Scared of Market Force

Hello Blanka - Jentodd is giving you good advice. Many forum members have shopped successfully for these companies. You will find the mystery shopping companies will be strict about adherence to guidelines so that the reports will be acceptable to the clients. There is a learning process to this, and almost all of us have done shops which were not accepted and for which we were not paid. This does not always mean that the companies are wrong. Most of the time, we, the shoppers, have made the mistakes. We learn from our mistakes to go forward and be successful shoppers.

The three companies you have mentioned in your posts are reputable companies and many of us shop for them. I shop for Bestmark and Market Force, and other shoppers on the forum have shopped for Monterey. These problems can be worked out so that you will be successful on future shops. Leaving problems unresolved with these companies means you don't understand what went wrong, and that means you will have problems on future shops with other companies.

Thank you for posting about your problems. It is always good to share with others and get suggestions and opinions. In this case, it would be good from your point of view to find out exactly what you did wrong on each report, and to make things right with each company.

No you are wrong. The instructions said to have two interactions at the same store, at the same time, and get a receipt for proof that you were there. I did that , then spent 2 hours at home uploading the 2 separate reports, and 1 receipt as required, $1.00 maximum reimbursement (candy or a soda).

Thats what I did, and it was a scam! You obviously work for one of these companies, and are probably the person perpetrating the fraud. Do not come on here to reprimand me for speaking the truth.

I think I am going to start a national blog about mystery shopping scams
MDavisNowell is most certainly not wrong. You had trouble with three reputable companies. They are not scams, they are not frauds. They are exacting and demanding. We all must complete assignments up to specifications or we will not get paid. That does not constitute any illegality on the part of the company. You continue to post this drivel on various threads. Why don't you address each of the issues on threads devoted specifically to each of those companies. You will then find others who have completed the same types of jobs and will be more than willing to share their experiences and offer solid advice. We cannot do that when you are posting bits and pieces of problems while making angry accusations. Calm down, communicate clearly and we may be able to help.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

blanka,

People who know me here, know I do not work for a shopping company. =)

As MDavisnowell suggested, leaving these issues unresolved only results in a lot of hurt feelings and misunderstandings. Nothing could be more obvious in this situation.

I realize that there will be no convincing you at this point, but should you decide to take my (our) advice, listen to reason, or present a well-thought-out, calm, and rational argument as to why the situation with all three of these companies went wrong, then I don't think there's much use in continuing. As it stands, right now, obstinance, petulance, and rage do nothing for me.

One last thing, I would ask that you be respectful of the rest of us (I do this as a member sharing the same space with you) and keep the language to a minimum. Again, I realize you are unhappy, but you can express yourself without being insultingly inflammatory.

Sending the best,

Jen

He Lisa, get off my back. Obviously you are a shunt for Marketforce, bestmark and Monterey.

These companies are the worst frauds there are. THE WORST. You can follow their directions to perfection, and guess what? They find a reason not to pay you. One shop was a total horror, and I had no problem reporting that the service was lousy.

Guess what? Poof, I didnt get paid for that one.

I could go on and on and on, but I think anyone who is reading this knows who you really are, and why you keep defending these obnoxious companies who take advantage of people because they can!
Man, I revise my earlier statements.. it doesn't seem you're capable of expressing yourself without the insultingly inflammatory blather. =X

I think you should leave here and go start that blog. And take davemlkk with you. He coincidentally came in and registered just in time to echo everything you are saying. Your time would be better spent working on your own blog rather than here where longtime mystery shoppers know the truth about the mystery shopping companies. There are definitely some bad ones but not the ones you are referencing!
I'm done with Blanka.

I have performed 150 shops for them and have been paid all but once and that was my mistake. Maybe you Blanka don't know how to follow INSTRUCTIONS. Thank you have a blessed day. Sorry I don't have any recipes to give you.
Blanka, I recently came across one of your posts and I couldn't help but feel the need to respond to some of your comments towards these three companies. It's been awhile and I don't think you will be back, but here's my two cents on all you've been saying:

I agree, some of these shops can feel lengthy and a bit frustrating, depending on how difficult they are and inexperienced the shopper is. I have been working with Bestmark since about 2009 and Marketforce since 2007. They are good, legitimate companies.

You, however, don't appear to be cut out for mystery shopping. It's about finding out if the store employees are adhering to company standards of performance. Sometimes they ask for your personal opinion, but not often. If your reports were anything like your rants on this site, I would not expect them to approve your reports or pay you.

Why feed it after it's gone? It was here less than 24 hours and hasn't been back since.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
In 2 years, I have had no trouble with Market Force. Great company to work with.
RE the theater blind and open check. The days are on the board, Friday, Saturday, Sunday as separate jobs, but if you request Friday, you are assigned the Entire weekend. If you do not do one day or one show then you do not get paid at all!!
