Murphy USA

Did the usual MSC lose this client? I don't see the shop on the board this month. Last month I saw that another MSC had the shops listed but at a lower fee. These were major shops for me, as I got them at high bonuses and I was able to take my daughter to perform the compliance portion of the shop. The "new" MSC does not give the option of taking someone within age range with you so it looks like I have lost some of my bread and butter.

We are in the same boat. Yes, the original is out and the 2nd is in. I would pay family's cell phone bill by shopping the 8 murphys in the area when the bonus got attractive. We have even planned road trips to collect some nice pay days.

We just have to hold out until the new company gets desperate too. I 2 bonus murphys last month. I think $5 extra each.
How much s the new MSC paying. I can not find them anywhere
They are only paying $10. Some have a $4 Bonus. I was doing them for $40 and above with the original MSC.
Who is the best mystery shop company out there in your opinion. The MSC that had the Murphy's doesn't have any decent paying ones anymore. I'm in college and this is my only form of income at this time.
The new company is paying bonuses too. Theyre offering routes too.
The new MSC is offering routes, bonuses, you name it. They got desperate enough to auto-assign one to me with $23 in bonuses, even though I've never completed a shop for them before. I don't have any Murphys within my usual shopping radius, so while I did the one they assigned me, I doubt I'll do more.
I can't even find the Murphy shops or who they are listed with. They are about 10 within 25 miles of me that I could do a loop and shop. But I can't find the company that has them.

I incorrectly inquired about the MS Company who was assigning these shops.

I apolize. I have taken that request down.

I just finished a few for the new MSC. It was easier to me because at most they only require one photo. The pay cut does suck, though. Even with a bonus, it's about half what the old company paid. :/
I've done a number for the MSC doing these. I don't know if there is a huge void of younger shoppers in my giant city or what but I have litteraly driven all over town helping the scheduler out and they were willing to negotiate a quite fair bonus for going out of my way. One thing I've learned is that it never hurts to contact the scheduler directly if you're interested in the shop but don't quite feel that the compensation is worth your time. Especially if you are helping them out of a bind.

There seems to be a huge void in my area too, because the MSC has been desperate to get them filled. The MSC has been consistently urging me to set up a route, but they're spread out so much in my area that it's just not worth it.

You can ask for $20 or $25 a piece. Do 5 a day.

I looked into doing that....the problem I'd have to drive three hours north, an hour east, and two hours west to complete 5 of them. They really are spread too far apart for it to be worth it. Even at $25 apiece.
I have several Murphy USA in my area but can not find the company that has them. I could hit 7 in about 4 hours. Any help available for this

No...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
I'm there with you. I'm in western NC and East Tenn. Not many big shops in this area.
Yeah I'm missing them big time too. I hit practically every Murphy's within a 50 mile radius of my home, on various days of the week when it was a good fit. I'd say I did 7-10 of those local ones per month at around $20 a pop (the local ones never went much higher than that.) But then, once a month, I'd do a mega-road trip, hitting 5-6 Murphy's at around $40 each, plus the Exxon shops were usually bonused pretty well at the same time, so I threw in about five of those that fit the route at around $20 each, plus there was always one VF Outlet on that route that was always either $40 or $50. Easy $350 and upwards for one day out once a month. Geez, writing all that out, now I feel really poor!
Could someone please inbox me with who now has the Murphy shops? Please! I used to shop them with the old MSC, and am signed up and work with lots of MSC's who have shops in my area, and I CANNOT find who has the Murphy's account now. Can you please help! I was supporting my grandbaby with these shops!
No one can tell you the MSC as it would violate the ICA. I don't know the MSC myself, as I don't think we have that store in my region, but hopefully (for you) it's an MSC that has a nickname or other "clue" someone can hint at to send you in the right direction, like when people mention "the purple" one or the "naked" one, etc.

I know that the MSC can't be mentioned in a blog post. But I didn't know they couldn't be mentioned in a PM. Thanks for letting me know that. Ok, a hint as to the new MSC would be good too, please... smiling smiley
