Lidl PLU shop drop in pay -- no thank you

I saw the new round of Lidl PLU shops out in my area today. I did a couple of these late last year when they were $15 pay and $15 reimbursement, but with a return element to the shop. The shops transferred to a new platform this year, now with $15 pay and only $5 reimbursement, but no return.

Fast forward to today. Shop is now $7 pay and $5 reimbursement. I figure that they'll be asking shoppers to pay for the privilege of doing them soon.

It's crazy how Walmart employees in my area went from 8.50 an hour to 15+ an hour and all of our gigs keep going lower and lower. Everyone else is getting paid more; we're getting paid less. Just a though.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I only see the same $15 fee with $5.00 reimbursement .
Maybe it's just the one location in my area. I hope so!
yes, that reduction in pay is crazy.
It is not a reduction in pay. It is just the purchase requirement that has been reduced. So the reimbursement has been reduced to match the new purchase requirement. You do not have to buy all those items as before. Just 4 things. Even with those 4 things, if you did 4 shops, you end up with a lot of stuff to eat, cook or give away. But not like before, where you had to buy 12 cans of peas or green beans and by the time you have done 3 or 4, you have up to 48 cans for the week. Then the same next week, etc.

And the report is super easy and quick. The in-store does not even take 6 minutes and the report may take 5 minutes or less.
I haven't seen the new round post yet but for $7, I would not be doing it. I mean it is one of the easiest shops ever but hardly makes it worth my time to drive there and get out of the car!
Where I live these are still $15 pay and up to $5 reimbursement for 4 items usually costing under $3. They are occasionally bonused $3 when someone flakes or the one in a questionable neighborhood. I haven't seen this $7 shop yet -- maybe it is a different scenario...
