Added: the new business is renting bikes at various locations like the library, trying to get more to bike ride and ditch their cars, great idea with our warm weather....we also have Paseo's for walking, enclosed bridges going to the mall over the highways, funny thing, we have tons of parking and no meters in the whole town....go figure.

The problem with Santa Clarita is every city council person gets into office with the promise of zero growth. As soon as they're in office they switch to allowing Developers to put up as many homes as possible. The weather was great but I'm glad I left.

Newhall Land and Development is really responsible for the growth, they own all the land and make a profit for everything that's built. I like it here, but not the summers, definitely a cold weather girl and also not much to do in the evening.....city life is more to my liking.
This is a community for families, but love how easy it is to get around and "park", and safe.
