It is 2018 and it is time to drop you!

I'm dropping my car wash subscription so I can do the monthly car washes. Also because I do not have the full service, I drove my own car in and was constantly being run-down and cut in front of by the drivers for the full service customers, got into a match yesterday.

I am also probably dropping my paid Jobslinger subscription today, I am signed up with all those Sassie companies anyway I think.

I am dropping Mile IQ and opting for Quicken's subscription this year that comes with a mileage tracker plus office software.

I am dropping one of my Facebook Mysyery Shopping related Groups, nothing is happening on it and my posts are ignored. I may start one of my own!

I am dropping my open faced clip-board for a notebook clipboard thst closes because I swear I had that grocery store note sheet but it was gone and I had to wing it.

I was going to drop Arby's but there are none in my area so I guess they dropped me first, I hate goodbyes anyway.

What are you dropping?

I’ve been watching for Arby’s and haven’t seen any... been wondering if they switched companies or changed their shops.

I found and use a really practical book-type clipboard that closes, in Staples 4 years ago. Black leather-like (plastic) with a padded front and back and large flap pocket on the left when opened where I keep my LOA. The right side when opened has the clip for holding my worksheet and a 3" pocket on the bottom in which I tuck my receipts. When fully opened the left side is flexible enough to fully fold under the right side forming a 9 x 12 clipboard. I do a lot of gas stations and have done them in the rain using this folder. I believe it was around $20 and well worth it. It is getting a little ratty and time for a new one, but it lasted 4 years.

I just did one today. They're still available.
I'm dropping my jeans and wearing sweats...elastic you know the whole waist thing. I'm dropping banks (targets), they are aging me.....I'm dropping red meat and MSC's that don't allow me to self-assign, how dare they, also bills are the worst, must figure out how not to pay them....

Live consciously....
I'm dropping a merchandising route that takes way too much time for way too little pay. I'm dropping my Netflix subscription because it keeps stealing all of my work hours. I'm dropping my worn out 17-year-old van that has made two cross county MSing trips in as many years. And I am dropping my my psychotic relatives who think that my life should revolve around their problems.

Happy New Year!
I'm dropping pretty much everything except the postal shops, the money lending shops, and lifestyle-enhancement. We seem to have a new shopper in the area who is hungry and grabbing everything (even the Jack in the Box at the LOWER rate). I'll give her a couple of months to burn out and then return to shopping more. I have things that need done around the house, anyway.

If she's taking low-ball offers I give it more like two weeks.
I'm on the wrong thread. It's 2018 and I'm picking up everything! I've just retired from my day job and now I can finally try some of the jobs I've read about all these years but could not do because they had to be done weekday.
I guess I should say I'm giving up having money in my pocket!

Storm, she's pretty much taking every shop on the boards. There are a few of us in the area who have gotten into a rhythm and we mesh well with our preferences, rotation, etc. It's amusing watching the really low-ball shops that generally bonus at the end of the month get snatched for the base rate in the first week. She will learn the hard way. Besides, it's cold outside and it's toasty warm at home. I probably need a break anyway.

The first six months I was a shopper, I took everything so I could build my portfolio. Now, I am very choosy.

Yes, someone has done that in my area, messed with the rotation of shops in a suburban area that I shop. It was very shocking at first. There are 4 locations of a certain shop and the new person is only taking two at a time. Now, it's not worth going for just the two for the one MSC; everyone looses. So now the pay for the remaining two shops need to have twice as much of a bonus than before. Although the MSC needs to end up paying the same $100 bonus, now it's $50 bonus each instead of $25 and I guess it looks incredibly different to them because they won't bonus the remaining two. I think that they are waiting for the new shopper to tell everyone about their new endeavor, because they always do, and they will have someone local to do the shop.
I want to drop at least three pants sizes. For the rest of this year, I will let the mystery shops, audits, and merch tasks unfold. For me, each year must be unique. This year, I am scheduling work in a different way than I did in previous years. So far, so good. I still have some assignments that I love, some assignments that are new for me, and 11.5 months to find out how busy, or not busy, I will be in this business. As for how I do business, I will try to remember that each shopper is unique and chooses work for reasons which are none of my business. If this affects my business, or the availability of work, so be it. My open letter to other shoppers in my area is. "Newbies, returnees, and visitors, I welcome you. This is a great place to work. Remember to have some fun."

I'm quitting EPMS; between work and grad school, I don't have time for the lengthy reports.

I enjoy the postal shops too, but wonder why you like the money lending shops. Please enlighten me. Do they pull your credit?
The money lending ones take 5 mins in the store, and <10 mins to enter. I buy a money order at the first one and cash it at the second one. No credit pull, free pen and envelope :-). The phone call pays separately and can be completed in 2 mins + <5mins; you're just asking about cashing a check. I don't actually like the phone part (I hate the phone) and would be willing to just take the in-person if they offered them. These are great filler shops, and my scheduler is amazing (she will accommodate my schedule and routes).
