New from So Cal

Hi all,

I'm new here and totally new to mystery shopping. I'm going to be browsing the forums and all the helpful advice posted, hoping to learn lots!

I'm in So Cal (inland empire) and looking to add a bit of income to my budget (instead of just out-go).

Welcome;

A bit of income is just about what you might make if you are lucky.

Mystery shopping never made me wealthy, Until recently it paid the gas to get from place to place. Now that the gas has gone through the roof it is almost not worth the effort.

I hope you read enough here on the forum to pick the shops that will put change in your pockets and that you do not end up subsidizing the companies that do not understand that independent contractors are not charitable benefactors.

Do not be fooled by the furniture company that offers $75 to walk around the store for 3 hours and answer over 300 questions. It is fools gold you will never see it.
Hi So.Cal., and welcome....Im also in So.Cal., and enjoy shopping. We are far apart from one another, but if you register with "Service Intellengence", they have decent paying Bank jobs in the Palm Springs area, also register with "A Closer Look", they have great restaurants, pay reimbursement only, and are a good company. Good luck, remember to have fun, enjoy, find your niche. Thank goodness gas prices are coming down, that helps.

Live consciously....
