Hi group. I'm Kathy, another new member here.

I did a little secret shopping, mostly banks and retail, a few years back. I lost all my records in the Joplin, MO 2011 tornado so I'm wondering if anyone can suggest where I might find legitimate companies in my area, Southwest MO. I applied at 2 today and have not heard back from one of them, which makes me a little nervous since they required detailed info including SS number in the application. Any suggestions or concerns? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! At the bottom of each page of the forum you will find the link to our "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies". This will take you to links to discussions about various companies as well as a link to the company's website. You will remember from when you did shopping before that in order to get registered and accepted as a shopper, most companies require a legitimate SSN. They also need detailed demographic information to determine your eligibility for shops when clients have specific target audiences.
