Brand new member

Hi members. I have just completed my first assignment as a MS for International Service Check for Mauritius - needless to say, I have also been done in. The pay offered was miserly to start off with, but I accepted for the experience, and now I learn that I will only earn $8 and expenses will not be refunded after all.
Any tips on good international companies to work for?

Welcome! I have worked for ISC and like them but the pay is usually low unless the shops are bonused. Bare International ans Shop Angels are good ones.

Hi everyone! I have not started yet MS shopping yet. I AM Canadian and keep on being sent opps for American companies. My 1st encounter with MS shopping was about a month ago for a Canadian company thinking that I was gonna receive $30 to do a job or two and I could cover the $30 in case but when I was sent a cheque (check) $2,545 I got a bit concerned.

Asked around to some of my banking friends and they told me to shred it -- I photocopied it first. And its confetti now! Any other Canadians here?

Hello from a shopper in Alberta. I've gotten two of those cheques as well.
A lot of American companies do have jobs in Canada.

Hi just joined. Can anyone please kindly direct me to credible and worthwhile Myster shopping sites? I'm sure there are some on this forum, but it'll take me some time to rummage through to find them. Any assistance would be great. It would be good to take on assignments here in Toronto, Canada.

Hi, Glover, welcome to the forum. See the blue link below, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies, for a great list of almost 200 companies to apply with. Unfortunately, there is no shortcut listing them by where they have clients so you will need to sign up before you are able to view their job boards to see if they have clients in your area.
