Hello--New to the board.

So glad I found this board. I've been shopping for almost two years now, so I'm still sort of fumbling along. I'm signed up with about a dozen companies, but so far all I get are the $10-$15 shops. I have to drive at least 30 miles to do any of them. So I'm starting to get a little discouraged, but am hoping that I can pick up some tips here to help me find those jobs that pay a little more. Last week I was busy every day with 2-4 shops per day. I've never had a shop rejected (yet), and get consistently high ratings on my reports.

Anyway, looking forward to reading all the posts, and seeing what you have to say!

Welcome!

Here you will find advice on maximizing your efforts by getting higher paying shops, but also learning how to build profitable routes and streamline your procedures. First step is to read the first few threads in the New Mystery Shoppers forum. While you are not new, there is great advice there. You also need to step up the number of companies in your stable. Many of us are registered with well over 100 and some are with 150 to 200 and more.

Welcome to you! I would agree with the prior post - - sign up for LOADS of companies. If you are not sure if they have shops in your area, just ask the company. It can be frustrating to sign up for a company and then they have no shops in your immediate area.

Ask lots of questions -- we are all here to help one another.

Thank you both for the welcome!

Yes, Sue, part of the frustration is finding companies that have jobs in my area. I even signed up with one in Australia, before I realized where it was!

But now I've been checking the portion of this site where the shoppers discuss the companies and picking up some good ideas.

What a treasure trove of information.
