New Mystery Shopper ~

Greetings Everyone,

I just started Mystery Shopping last month and so far, it has been a favorable experience! I am a military wife who is also a full time student, so, it's nice to be able to schedule a shop to and from school. I'm catching on fast and the area I am in has plenty of good shops, so I am happy to not be in an area where it is very saturated. I am also discovering that some shops are worth more than others and my time is very valuable. I noticed that there are some shops that pay only reimbursement and so far, I've declined those. Do any of you choose to accept reimbursement only-shops? I've set up an Excel spreadsheet with all of the details of my shops, reimbursements and fees so I can track payment. I'm already discovering my favorite companies because of their professionalism and prompt payments! This is a nice little way to make a little $$ and to really help raise the bar in customer service excellence! If I owned a business, I would use mystery shoppers, too.

Hi Maggs,

My husband and I do the reimbursement only shops - those are great for going out for dinner on someone else's dime!

You sound like you are off to a very good start and are doing a great job keeping yourself organized too. Congrats!

Oh - and thank your husband for us! (from a military mom to a military wife)

Hi R@inyDayZ,

Ah, that makes sense! Reimbursement only for a date night! Nice!

I dropped my DH a note of thanks from you! We always appreciate the support! Please thank your son/daughter who is serving, as well! I know you are a proud mom!
