I'm so pleased to see a forum for shoppers. I began mystery shopping many years ago and had to quit to take care of my parents for almost four years. No regrets - they were both wonderful people.
It's such a different market now than it used to be. Did trailer checks because the company would call and leave messages regarding the when and where - there was no applying, just here it is and would you please do this for us. By the way, we always stayed to see the film we were checking. The pay was better, too.
Did the full gamut of shopping but drew the line at demos. Didn't like to stand for eight hours. My favorite shops were the large department stores, merchandising books and of course, theaters.
Now there is this wonderful place to share with others who have been there and done that and can recommend, share experiences, thoughts and ideas - what a great thing! I hope to garner insight and povide whatever I can to share with others. THANKS!!!
