Hi there,

I have a small mystery dining company called The Silent Customer and am looking for shoppers in the Southeast to assess pubs. Please complete your profile on www.thesilentcustomer.com

You would need to tell us a whole lot more than this as you do not appear on the US radar at all! Are you looking for shoppers in the US or the UK? While I see this website has been registered since 2008 and is up for renewal later this year, this forum is mostly populated by US and Canadian shoppers. There is little reason for us to register at a site that has only shops in the UK.
Looking at your site, you require a UK bank account?

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
I just realised it is only US and Canada! Gosh sorry. I'm in UK. Such a great forum too. Sorry everyone

Are you in the Lubbock area im ready to go to Word
We do have shoppers from the UK drop by from time to time but since we are of very little use to them about our experience with companies shopping in their area we suggest they google shopper forums in the UK. I understand there are some good ones.
Oh dear, Can I take my post out? I feel really bad but I didn't realise this was a US website.

Please don't! It allows us to let any UK folks who may drop by find a reference to you by using 'UK' in the Search on the site. And if you find any UK forums you find to be helpful to especially new shoppers, we would appreciate if you could give us a link to those.
Well, it is very well optimised and I really do need mystery shoppers.

I will let you know how many I find. Can I change my post to say "UK" though?

Yes, you can use the blue 'Edit Post' function in the lower right corner of your original post and that may allow you to change the subject line as well to say 'Need mystery shoppers in the UK NOW' or similar. But as soon as anyone searches 'UK' they should find this thread and every post in it that uses that term.
Another thought, SilentCustomer . . . from time to time some of our shoppers make it to the UK either on shop tours or personal business so it probably not all a waste to have a reference here to you. I note MrComputer101 noted you are required to have a UK bank account to work with your company. Would you be able to deal with foreigners signed up and able to pay/reimburse through something such as Paypal? I don't know how it is in the UK, but in the US reimbursements are never taxable and the occasional visitor would rarely if ever earn much in fees that should require tax reporting under US law.
Interesting that Flash has asked exactly the question that I signed on to post. I hope to spend some time in the UK in the next 12 months and wondered about shopping opportunities there.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I haven't been over the Pond in a while. Do they shop Harrod's?
The website shows what appear to be only restaurants and I didn't see any I recognized as being in Harrod's.
Perhaps you will get clients in the US, we will know your name, and register at
that time.

Live consciously....

I've been to London twice, and yes Flash, there is a restaurant in Harrod's.

I got to see what we would call a Broadway Show - it was great - stayed at a nice hotel across the park (a very very very big park) from the Queen's home, my gosh those gates are magnificent...and yes they really wear those red suits and tall beaver hats and they dont blink or smile - nice people the Brits, BUT the coldest dampest weather, chill to the bone, I've ever come across - and I come from a place where we used to get two feet of snow or more. It didn't snow in England while I was there - but it rained - right through my rain proof heavy pleather rain coat. Can;t say I enjoy the weather, but the fish and chips were great smiling smiley.
Thanks for all your posts.

I apologise for not responding but I think that I unwittingly, turned off the thread’s email notification.

I confess also, that I didn’t realise I was the only UK mystery shopping company on your forum. Paypal is catching on in the UK but very slowly. So at the moment I pay directly into UK bank accounts.

I don’t have Harrods on my books sadly. My clients are mainly based in more rural areas and have traditional old English pubs.

I joined this forum because I thought it would be great to encourage my shoppers “silent customers” to sign up to your forum so they might be able to share experiences with you all. I know some other Uk companies that might like to become members too.

Janet,
Yes, please ask your colleagues at other UK companies to check out this site and post. I travel to the UK and would love to do some of your rural pubs! Hoping for Palpay, since I do not think that I would be allowed to open a bank account in the UK?
